• Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.
    ~ Joseph Addison

I think every person should make it a priority to sit down with a book for at least some portion of the day.  During my days in junior high, I spent so much time reading that my mother started to hide my books in the piles of laundry she wanted me to fold, or in other places around the house so I would make time for piano practice and math homework.  I will admit, I`m glad I can still plunk out a little bit on the piano and add a little bit in my head but reading is a different kind of joy!

The Bible tops my list of recommended reading.  You must decide what to believe about the contents but as the top selling book of all time, it plays a big role in our history.
