District Website Updates
Oswego, Ill. (August 12, 2022) — Over the Summer break, the Communications Department and District Webmasters made significant changes to the www.SD308.org website resources.
New Menus
Easy to access menus for User Options, Translate, and Schools on desktop and mobile devices.

Quick Access Buttons
Buttons for the School Calendar, Tyler Portal, Attendance, Peachjar Flyers, and (Bell/School Hour) Schedule are available on every page throughout your school building websites.

Return to District & Social Media Buttons
These are now available on every page.

Text and Menu Changes
All text on the website is clearer, larger, and in the same format. In order to accommodate this change, the "Schools Menu" is no longer located in the main menu bar.

With easy-to-read universal headings and lists throughout the website.

Announcement Banners
New announcement banners highlighting major district events, school closings, and schedule changes (eg 5 hour days).

School News
Simplified to one area with school newsletters, news articles, principal messages, etc all in your building's primary School News app with tags for these areas. Making it easier to find the most recent information shared by your building.

District News
On every school page with information from every District Department. If ESD, Transportation, Technology, etc posts something newsworthy, it appears right below your school news.

Mobile Friendly Layout
Placing menus on the top of the mobile layout and automatically opening the news apps to make things easier to read.
Key Parent Resources Highlighted
Key parent and guardian resources are highlighted for easy access. In addition, school-specific resources will exist here.

Global Footer
A footer on every page that helps people find essential information from Harassment & Incident Reporting to Employment Opportunities.

Additional Information
