Principal's Message
5.12.23
Dear Prairie Point Families:
With the end of the school year coming, I would like to acknowledge the efforts made by all of the students, staff, and parents in the Prairie Point community during the course of this year. The extraordinary commitment made by all means that our students can continue to succeed and flourish. The staff and students are excited to continue to celebrate their accomplishments over the next two weeks.
Safety Reminders:
- Students who WALK to school should arrive as close to 8:45am as possible. We have several students who arrive very early and are unsupervised in the back of the school. There has been climbing in trees, banging on the doors, and general horseplay before staff supervision begins. Please review the expectations and arrival time with your child.
- Please plan to be at the school by 4:00 at the latest to pick up your child. Our line moves quicker when it’s nice out.
- If you are walking to pick up your child, please let them and the teacher know ahead of time and they will be coming out of DOOR 3 or DOOR 7. There are several parents waiting at those spots to receive their children - you can’t miss it! Please do not walk up to the front area where the students and staff are during this time. Thank you!
Once again, thank you for reviewing our arrival and dismissal procedures. 🙂
