Dr. Sparlin Visits Fox Chase Elementary School

Dr. Sparlin was busy reading to several classrooms at Fox Chase on Monday afternoon, December 19, as he was joined by Interim Principal KC Spranger.

After reading about how to catch an elf, Dr. Sparlin was invited to join in on voting for the best ugly sweater drawing in a fourth grade class! Kids were eager to show their critical thinking skills during a small group math challenge in a third grade classroom. In kindergarten, students were rotating in various centers, with games, art, reading and math activities. In a mixed grade classroom, students enjoyed Dr. Sparlin reading about what snowmen do at night, and then discussing the upcoming snow expected soon!

With just a few days left before winter break, students and staff were full of anticipation and fun seasonal activities were underway throughout the school. While wishing happy holidays to staff and students, Dr. Sparlin provided small token gifts in appreciation for all that the Fox Chase teachers and staff do to make the school such a great place to learn and grow!
