Dr. Sparlin Visits Homestead Elementary School

Dr. Sparlin rolled up his sleeves and helped with holiday arts and crafts at Homestead Elementary School on Wednesday, December 14.

He started by decorating large gingerbread cookies with a group of students, and then moved to another class to assist in making a recipe for homemade gingerbread play-dough. The spirit of fun was felt in each room as Dr. Sparlin made his way around the school, decorated in lights and fun decor for the season!

In a first grade class, students were searching around the room in a scavenger-style activity for math problems located on the wall throughout the classroom, solving each of them and recording them on their clipboard in the allocated time. Staff enjoyed visiting with Dr. Sparlin, sharing about what they were working on, and what accomplishments the students had made.
