Today’s SST Focus: Read the “BULLetin” and independent reading 

Excellent job to the Murphy Boys 8th Grade Track team at Monday's conference meet held at OEHS! The 8th Grade Boys placed 2nd overall! Highlights include :(100): 1st Ty'Rel Thomas-11.34; 2nd Carson Fell-11.81/ (1600): 2nd Mason Van Denend-5.33; 3rd Remy Santos-5:36/ (200): 2nd Ty'Rel Thomas-23.36; 3rd Carson Fell-24.14/ (High Jump): 2nd Ty'Rel Thomas 5'0! WAY TO GO BOYS! 

Last night the girls soccer team played their last game of the season. Murphy played a great game against Thompson. The game finished with a score of 6-0 and this was without Murphy shooting for the last 24 min of the game. This brings their final record to 4-3-1.   Great season girls. Make sure you turn in your clean uniforms to Coach.

Yearbooks will be distributed during SST and 1st period on Wednesday, May 24th. If you are still interested in ordering a book, please bring $38 to Ms. Fell (Room F203)as soon as possible. 

8th Grade Dance tickets FOR TONIGHT are on sale during your lunch periods for $5! ID’s will be required to enter the dance. Please make sure you have one. New ID’s are available for purchase for $5 in the main office. 

Spirit Week is next week: Show your Maverick pride by dressing up for the theme each day. Monday is Pajama Day, Tuesday is Tye Dye Day, Wednesday is Favorite Sports team Day, Thursday is Vacation/Hawaiian Day and  Friday is Maverick Wear Day! Start planning your wardrobe for the week!. 

Attention 8th Graders:Your 8th grade promotion night tickets (4 per family) will be given to you TODAY during your 9th period class. Please make sure to take them home to your parent/guardian

ALL LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE TODAY! Please return your checked out books to the LRC!
