Today’s SST Focus: SuccessMaker (Prodigy for Algebra 1 students)

Attention 8th Graders: Your 8th grade promotion night tickets (4 per family) will be given to you this FRIDAY May 19th during your 9th period class. Please make sure to take them home to your parent/guardian. 

Excellent job to the Murphy track team at Monday's conference meet held at OEHS! Murphy received 3rd place overall with the 8th grade girls team finishing 1st in their grouping and the 8th grade boys finishing 2nd.

Highlights include: 

8th grade girls Eva took 1st place in Discus, 54'3 and 6th in long jump 10'8.  Kailynn took 1st in long jump 13'4 and Callie took 2nd in long jump 12'6 1/2 took 2nd in hurdles 19.15.  Macy took 1st in High jump 4'6 and first in mile with 6:03.23.  Harper tied for 5th in high jump 4'0. Paige took 6th in hurdles at 19.81. In the 100 dash Avaya took 1st 13.08, Maya took 5th 13.96 and Harper 6th 14.08. The 4x100 took first with Avaya, Macy, Maya, Harper at 55.08.  In the 400 Jiana took 3rd 1:11.02 and Taytum took 5th 1:17.  Our 4 x 200 team took 1st Avaya, Harper, Callie, and Kiara 1:59. In the 200 Makenzie took 5th 30.99 and Addison took 6th 31.65. The 4x400 took 2nd Macy, Paige, Kiara, and Addison with 5:01.87. 

7th grade girls:  Ashlynn Roberts finished 2nd in the 100 and 3rd in the 200.

7th grade boys: Isaiah Wolter got 1st place in the long jump, 100 meter dash, and the 200 meter dash. The 4 x 100 meter relay team made up of Tavian Talton, Jack Monn, Diego Vasquez, and Isaiah Wolter received 2nd place. Finley Hartigan got 3rd in the shot put.
