Students: Today’s SST focus is AVID Organization.  You should be filling in your planners for the week based on the posted WAAGs from your teachers as well as getting yourself organized for the week.  If you complete your organization before the end of SST, you can independently read.

MAVS! Student Council members will be selling Valentine’s Day Grams during all lunch periods. This is a great opportunity to treat your friends or that special someone! Each gram will cost $1 and will be handed directly to you at the time of purchase. GRAMS ARE BEING LIMITED TO 5 PER PERSON AND WILL BE AVAILABLE UNTIL WE SELL OUT. Happy Valentine’s Day, Mavericks!

Mav’s: The 7th grade Mavs took on the Plank Pirates last Thursday. The girls played well in the first game scoring 13 points but it wasn't enough to get the win. 5 girls scored in the game. The top scorer for the Mavs was Halima Smith with 4 points. Aubrey Pleva, Isabelle Sharer, Ashlynn Roberts, and McKayla Robinson all chipped in points. The Mavs played well in the second game and came home with a win. McKayla Robinson led the way with 12 points. Brooke Schmudde and Ashlynn Roberts each scored 4 and Kelise Maddox and Alle Isha added 2. The girls play again Tuesday night against Traughber here at Murphy.
