Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Friday, February 3rd, 2023 

Students:Today’s SST focus is on reading The BULLetin and Independent Reading.  All students should take a look at The BULLetin that is sent out at 6:00 pm on Thursday evenings or reading independently.  If there is a need for an SEL lesson extension, your teacher will let you know.

Hey Mav’s: The Murphy Muralists are taking on the challenge of the walls of MJHS.  Students will be collaborating to create, design, and paint murals around the school.  Our first meeting is Monday, February 6th. All students interested must have a signed permission slip and pay the fees prior to attending. Permission slips are available in student services. See Ms. Cryder with any questions.

Boy's Intramural volleyball will start on February 7th.  This is open to any boys in 6th- 8th grade. No experience is necessary.  Forms for sign up are available in student services.  There is a limit on the number of participants, so please sign up as soon as you can.  If you have any questions you can email Mrs. Steele.  

The Maverick Market is open today for the following Homerooms: Phillips, Sanborn, Shields, Vugteveen, Watkins, Williams, and Winter. If you have bullseyes to spend at the school store, you may walk to the LRC, after the pledge.

Reminder: Cell phones are not allowed during the school day. They should be turned off and out of sight. This includes during passing periods, lunches, study halls, PE, and all classes. This is a district-wide rule. If you need to make a call to a parent or guardian, you must come down to the front office and call from the school phone.
