Students: Today’s SST focus is on reading The BULLetin and Independent Reading.  All students should take a look at The BULLetin that is sent out at 6:00 pm on Thursday evenings or reading independently.  If there is a need for an SEL lesson extension, your teacher will let you know.

Excellent job Wrestling Mavericks on your win over Thompson Thursday evening! Earning points for Murphy's varsity team were forfeits made by Benson Witkowski, Da'Sean Jackson, Jason Castorena, Alex Penley, and Josh Sotelo. Varsity pins were made by Lincoln Sondgeroth, Austin Crawford, Keller Ralson, Jack Monn, and Bobby Frierson. For the exhibition matches, Da'Sean Jackson and Holden Montgomery won by pinning their opponents. Lohith Kunapareddy won by tech fall while Holden Montgomery won a second match by obtaining more points than his opponent. Great job wrestlers and best of luck as you take on Bednarcik at home Monday evening!!  

It's that time of year again! Murphy is participating in the Annual Toys for Tots Program now through December 9th. Please remember to bring in your NEW, unwrapped toy and  it can be for all ages.  A raffle will take place on December 9th, where 12  lucky winners will have the chance to serve as Murphy’s "elves for the day". These elves will get to help the fire department load up the toys as well attend our annual toys for tots pizza party WITH a friend of choice. In addition to that, Murphy also  will be hosting a doughnut party for the winning homeroom that donates that most toys! The more you donate the better chance you have to participate in this special event!! 

The Maverick Market is open today for the following Homerooms: Brooks, Burfield, Erickson, Karvelius, Waldron, Mr. Zaininger, Alcala, Meeder, Youngwith and Straub. If you have bullseyes to spend at the school store, you may walk to the LRC, after the pledge.
