Students: Today’s SST focus is Second Step.  Your classes will be working through SEL lessons provided by your teachers.  

Mav’s: The Fall Scholastic Book Fair is taking place in the LRC today, during the school day.  Special hours tonight from 4-8pm during parent teacher conferences, and Friday 8 to noon. Families can even set up eWallet to make shopping at Murphy easier.  If you can’t make the book fair, you can also help support our school by shopping online. All orders ship home and book-only orders over $25 ship free. The online fair is available through Thursday November 17th. Hey Mav’s: The 7th grade boys basketball team played Traughber Monday night. Both teams picked up their first loss of the year losing 40-24 in the first game and 35-21 in the second. Mason Trayser led the Mavs in scoring in the first game with 9 points. Jack Malm added 7. In the second game, Carter Kaufman scored 7 and Julian Losoya scored 6. The boys play next at Thompson on November 17th.

The Maverick Market is open today for the following Homerooms: Phillips, Sanborn, Shields, Vugteveen, Watkins, Williams, and Winter. If you have bullseyes to spend at the school store, you may walk to the LRC, after the pledge.
