Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Friday, October 28th, 2022
Students: Today’s SST focus is on reading The BULLetin and Independent Reading. All students should take a look at The BULLetin that is sent out at 6:00 pm on Thursday evenings or reading independently. If there is a need for an SEL lesson extension, your teacher will let you know.
Attention, Mavericks! The Monster Bash will take place tonight, October 28th from 6-8 PM. Tickets will be on sale during lunch periods for $7.00. You must have an ID with your photo on it to be allowed in the dance. If you need to purchase an ID, they can be purchased for $5.00 in the main office. Costumes are encouraged! More details can be found in the Bulletin.
Attention all 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls: There is a girls volleyball intramural starting Thursday, November 3rd. Sign up sheets are in Student Services and they are due by Tuesday, November 1st. There are limited spots, so get your form turned in right away. You do not need any experience to sign up! If you have any questions, you can email Ms. Steele.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Murphy is joining Grande Park in their fundraising efforts to support their staff member who will be fighting this disease. Awareness bracelets are available for sale for $2. You can buy them during lunch periods or in Student Services through Friday, November 4th. PLEASE NOTE: Please bring exact change as NO change will be given. You are welcome to donate more than $2 if you wish. Thank you for your support!
The Maverick Market is open for the following homerooms: Borneman, Calvillo, Cryder, Dudley, Gabhart, Kerr, Parlier, Pugh, Tomasetti and Vihnanek. If you have bullseyes to spend at the school store, you may walk to the LRC, after the pledge.
