Students: Today’s SST focus is AVID Organization. You should be filling in your planners for the week based on the posted WAAGs from your teachers as well as getting yourself organized for the week. If you complete your organization before the end of SST, you can independently read.
Hey Mav’s: Spirit Week is here! Oh yeah!! You all look cozy in your PJ’s today! Tomorrow is Throwback Day (Dress for your favorite generation) What will it be 70’s, 80’s, 90’s? It’s up to you!!
Hey Mav’s: Are you hungry? Do you love cheese fries? Chocolate shakes? Cheeseburgers or a good Chicago style hotdog??? Wellll then, join us for dinner at the Oswego Portillos, Wednesday, Oct. 19th, from 5-8 pm. Portillos will be hosting a Murphy Fundraiser. You can order in person, drive thru or online. If you order online you will need to enter a digital code PORTILLOS24 before check out. If you order in person make sure you mention its for the Murphy Fundraiser. Murphy will get 20% back of all sales!! ALRIGHT! Check out the “Bulletin” with all the details before you go!
Have you lost something, a water bottle, a jacket, a lunch bag? Lose something more valuable? If so, ask Mrs Cooper. There are many lost items looking for their owner. Please check out the lost and found outside of student services! All unclaimed items will be donated Friday after school.
Attention Wrestlers: Practice starts today after school. Report to the balcony dressed to workout. See you then!
Attention Any 7th or 8th grade boys wanting to try out for the basketball team: You must sign up on 8 to 18 and have a physical on file. Tryouts are this Thursday and Friday after school. Any questions please see Mr. Brown.
Mav’s: Thank you EVERYONE who participated in our Double Good 4 Day Fundraiser! Murphy had a total of 111 supporters and sold over $5,500!

Congratulations to all of the students who prepared an Illinois Music Educators Association audition this year! We are super proud to announce that the following musicians made the District 9 Jr. Festival in either band or choir: Rena Daniel-Evbota, Cameron Kubera, Gia Lazatin, Rohan Singh, Cameron Baczek, Ada Herring, Shrihitha Ketha, Ainsley Laos, Jacob Long, Michala Morgan, and Carson O'Koniewski.
