Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Friday, August 19th, 2022

Attention all 6th, 7th and 8th graders interested in running cross country this year: the first practice will be Monday after school. Stop by Mrs. Vihnanek's room, F107, this week to pick up a schedule for the season. See you next week at practice. 

Attention 7th and 8th grade girls interested in trying out for girls volleyball.  You must be registered on 8to18 and have a current sports physical turned in to be eligible to try out.  Please have that completed by this Friday or Monday at the latest.  There is an optional open gym on Monday after school until 5pm.  This is a great opportunity to meet the coaches and get some practice time before tryouts.  You must have a ride here at 5pm to pick you up.  Tryouts will be next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday- depending on if you are in 7th or 8th grade.  The season calendar and expectation information is in the Bulletin.  You can also email Coach Steele or Coach Zack if you have any questions. 

Attention 7th or 8th grade boys interested in playing soccer for Murphy: You need to make sure there is an updated physical on file with the school and also registered on 8to18 website by Friday, August 19th. On Monday August 22nd and Tuesday, the 23rd, those interested can come out to the soccer fields to just kick the ball around from 3:20-4:40. Tryouts are 26th AND 27th (must attend both days).  If you have any questions please see Ms Kerr. 

Attention students! Schedule change requests are due to your counselor by next Friday, August 26th. The only request that we are potentially able to accommodate is dropping an elective and replacing it with a study hall. You must have your parent/guardian's permission to do this. Remember, it is not a guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your request.
