Mav’s: This is a reminder that hats of any type are not allowed to be worn in school, hoods are to be down and sunglasses are also not permitted to be worn. Let's be our best Mav’s and follow school expectations.  Let’s finish the year strong!

Congratulations to the Murphy track team on the big win at the district quint last Wednesday evening! The team finished 1st place at the quint, beating out the other 4 junior highs!! The 7th grade girls, 7th grade boys, 8th grade girls, and 8th grade boys all got 2nd place at the meet, but it was the accumulation of points that caused the team to have a 1st place overall finish.

8th grade boys' highlights include 1st place finishes and personal bests by Grant VanMeter and Aiden Fell at shot put, Grant VanMeter at the discus, Aiden Fell in the mile, Max Bogdan in the 400, and Brett Larson, Nick Booker, Noah Snow, and Aiden Fell all in the 4x100. Phoenix Scott finished 2nd place in the 800. Max Bogdan earned 3rd in high jump and 4th in the 100 while Noah Snow received 5th in the 400. Excellent job!

Have you lost something? If so, please check out the lost and found in the cafeteria. All unclaimed items will be donated after school on Friday.

Make it a great day Maverick
