Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Tuesday, March 8th, 2022
Hey Mav’s: Breakfast is now served every day before school in the cafeteria. Here are some friendly reminders of breakfast expectations. You are expected to stay in the cafeteria until the bell rings at 8:02am, clean up your area and throw all your unwanted items and trash, prior to leaving the cafeteria. As always no eating in the hallways or classrooms. Thank you for your cooperation!!
IAR Testing is this week: Please remember to bring your charged Chromebook and a set of wired headphones! Don’t have some? You can purchase headphones in the LRC for $1. Please make sure you eat a healthy breakfast and get a good night sleep too!
Mav’s: There will be an informational meeting this Friday, March 11th, for any 7th or 8th grader interested in going out for the Track team here at Murphy. Please go to the Multi-purpose room after the pledge.
Attention 7th and 8th grade boys: Boys volleyball season is coming soon. Tryout packets are available in student services. No experience is necessary. You must have a current sports physical, register for boys’ volleyball on 8to18 and turn in the contract by Wednesday, March 23rd to qualify for tryouts. Tryouts will be right after spring break. If you have any questions, please email or ask Ms. Steele.
Have you lost a retainer?? If so, come to student service to retrieve it!
Yearbook Order - Last Call! The final day to preorder a 2021-2022 yearbook is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 9th! Yearbook pages are finalized at the end of March, so we can have them delivered before the last week of school. Extra copies are not guaranteed at the end of the year. Order yours today!
Any 7th grade or 8th grade girl interested in trying out for the Murphy girls’ soccer team: You need to make sure you are registered in 8to18 and make sure you have a current physical on file with the school by March 23rd.
