Hey Mav’s: The Maverick Sewing Club will be starting in February. Get your permission slip from Ms. Calvillo in E103 to join the fun!

The Maverick Market is open today for the following Homerooms: Phillips, Vugteveen, S. Zaininger, Kunsch, Hauert, Sanborn, Watkins. If you have bullseyes to spend at the school store, you may walk to room E213, after the pledge.

Congratulations to the following students who were nominated by Murphy Staff as the December Model Mavericks.  If you hear your name, please come down to Student Services at the end of announcements to receive your certificate.  

Marya Khamisi was nominated by Ms. Fabrere. She was nominated for always being a great help and very positive to other students! She helps others during morning tutor and is a great role model for Murphy! 

Carleigh Gregory was nominated by Mr. Falli.  Carleigh has been a huge support for new students recently as she has helped these students become comfortable as they transition to Murphy. She has a positive attitude and is always willing to help other students or staff either as a new student helper or an office runner. Thanks for being a Model Maverick Carleigh!

Goda Vievesis was nominated by Ms. Fell. Goda is always positive and encouraging to others. She is very respectful and always puts her best foot forward. She is kind to her peers and models the Maverick Way every day!

Leslie Ruiz was nominated by Ms. Gardner.  Leslie is very kind and accepting of her peers. She is respectful and her effort is always the best!

Ryan Tattooles was nominated by Mrs. O'Brien.  Ryan is very polite to all peers,respectful, and is very helpful in class. He is a pleasure to have in class!

Ella Kaufman was nominated by Mrs. Khan.  Ella is always a positive role model for her peers - she is polite and respectful to others and always tries her best at whatever she is working on. She tries to help others who are struggling whenever she can and works well with anybody.

Marc Sanchez-Giron was nominated by Mrs. Lake.  Marc is always so respectful and eager to help. He arrives at the office early and is the first person to the front office when we call for an office runner. He goes above and beyond, and we are very grateful for everything he does for us!
