7th grade girls’ basketball tryouts begin after school next Tuesday, January 18. If you are going to try out, you must register on the Murphy 8to18 website and have a physical on file. See Mr. Orr if you have any questions. 

Mavericks, are you ready to earn more BULLSEYES and shop at the Murphy Market?! This quarter teachers and staff will be looking for you to clean up after yourself and others, hold a door open for someone, and assist others with a task. Teachers, please be sure to pass out those BULLSEYES.

Attention anyone interested in participating in morning intramural basketball: Please see Mr. Brown or got to the student services office to pick up a sign up form.

Hey Mav’s: Congratulations to the following students who have advanced to the Murphy’s Spelling Bee final round. The finalists are: Niraj Viju Sulaja, Jaqueline Perez, Carleigh Gregory, Shrihitha Ketha, Jacob Long, Ariana Bertaccini, Aleksander Datskovskiy, Sneha Ganesan. Information on the final round will be given out next week. Congratulations to the finalists and great job to all participants.

The Maverick Market is open today for the following Homerooms: Lester, Clausen, Cryder, Gardner, Khan, Kiefert, Miller (Science). If you have bullseyes to spend at the school store, you may walk to room E213, after the pledge.
