Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Monday, December 6th, 2021

Hey Mavericks! Murphy Jr High and Murphy’s PTO would like to invite you to the “WINTERFEST 2021” on Friday December 10th from 6-8pm! Mark your calendars! Tickets will be $7 and today is the last day they will be for sale during your lunch periods. You cannot buy tickets at the door. Those that have made a donation to the PTO will receive a free ticket (that can be picked up at lunch ticket sales.) Lastly, your school ID is required to gain entrance to the Winterfest Event (no ID, no entry). If you need a new ID made, you can obtain a new one for $5 in the main office. We hope to see you there!

Attention Mavericks: Murphy Junior High School in conjunction with The Rotary Club announces the annual “Coats for Kendall” winter clothing drive. Please bring in any gently used coats, scarves, hats, gloves or mittens. All collected items will be donated to local charities to ensure those in need in our local community have warm winter gear as the weather turns colder. A collection box is located in the main office. Mavericks please show you care by donating to those in need.

Reminder! This is the last week to donate a toy for this year’s toys for tot program. The last day for toy turn in is this Wednesday, December 8th. Bringing in a NEW toy means you're one step closer to attending this Toys for Tot pizza party and you’re helping a child over the holiday! Toy totals are extremely low compared to years past so please do your part and donate a toy today! All toys must be turned into your homeroom by Wednesday! All tickets must be filled out with the students first and last name AND grade level! Do your part over the holiday season and donate a toy for a child in need!
