Hey Mavs! We are collecting new socks and new socks only to donate to Hesed house in Aurora. Tomorrow is our last to collect. Will your homeroom be the room to win the homeroom challenge? For each pair of socks you donate, your homeroom will receive a point. A fuzzy pair of socks is worth two points, and a normal pair is worth one point but both are welcome! The leading homeroom will receive a sweet treat! Let’s try and get over 1,000 new socks for Hesed House! BRING IN YOUR SOCKS TOMORRROW TO SHOW YOU CARE MAVERICKS!

5th period lunch! Mr. Watkins, Mr. Falli & Mrs. Zawacki are hosting a Meet & Eat on Tuesday, November 2nd! Join them for The Great Candy Debate to decide which candy is the best! Sign up with your homeroom teacher!

7th Period lunch: Would you like to have Meet and Eats with Mrs. Hauert this week? Sip and 'Spill the tea' with Mrs. Hauert this Friday during 7th period lunch! Bring your fanciest or favorite cup with you so we can talk about ALL the things while enjoying a treat. Ask your homeroom teacher to sign up, 15 spots are available. Hope to see you there.

Good morning, MAVS! This week Murphy staff members will be passing out BULLSEYES to those students who are caught ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY in the classroom. You can earn a BULLSEYE in a variety of ways. Make sure you are arriving to each of your classes on time and completing your assignments on time as well. Let's show how responsible Mavericks can be!

MAVERICKS! How loud can you cheer? How much noise can you make? Get ready for an exciting time of great basketball, raffle prizes, food and fun! We will be hosting the “Shop with a Cop” tournament starting tomorrow night. We will be having a teams from Plainfield and Plank joining us. The fun starts Thursday from 4-7pm, Friday 4-7pm and Saturday for the championship from 8am-1pm. Murphy will play on Friday the 29th at 4:30pm. We look forward to hosting this awesome event for such a great cause!! Join your Maverick friends and family in cheering on our boys’ basketball team and this great cause. Admission is $1 for students and seniors and $3 adults for everyone at the door. All proceeds go to our Shop with a Cop charity. Don’t miss out on the fun!
