Attention 7th and 8th Graders interested in joining the Murphy Poms Squad: Murphy Poms Squad clinics and tryouts are set to begin Wednesday, September 1st. Any interested 7th and 8th graders must have the an up to date Sports Physical on file, and the completed packet turned into Ms. Cryder prior to clinics and tryouts. See Ms. Cryder with any questions.

A reminder to all students: Please remember that masks are expected to completely cover your mouth and nose through the entire day, besides when you are outside or eating lunch in the cafeteria. Eating food is not allowed in the academic hallways. We appreciate your compliance.

Mavericks: Do you enjoy helping your school and community? If so, you may be a perfect fit for Murphy’s 2021 - 2022 Student Council. Miss Buckley and Miss Phillips are looking for reliable and responsible students to join this year’s club. If you are interested, please obtain a sign-up form outside of Miss Buckley’s classroom, D101 or Miss Phillips’s classroom, D209, Forms are due to either teacher by Friday, September 3rd. Reminder to all BUS RIDERS: Please make sure you stay on the sidewalk until the bus comes to a complete stop, is parked and is ready to load.

Attention NJHS members: Our first meeting is today, after school in Mrs. Borneman’s room, room number F123. See you then!

Reminder: Cell phones are not allowed during the school day. They should be turned off and out of sight. This includes during passing periods, lunches, study halls, PE, and all classes. This is a district-wide rule. If you need to make a call to a parent or guardian, you must come down to the front office and call from the school phone.
