Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Friday, February 21st, 2020

 

Attention Mavericks!  The Annual District Math competition is on Monday March 16th.  Join other 6th, 7th and 8th graders from all 5 junior highs in both a team and individual math competition.  Let’s keep our Trophy and take down Bednarcik once again!  See your math teacher for more information and be sure to turn in your sign up form by March 9th.

 

Attention all students: For continued safety and security, all student passwords for the Tyler system have been reset.  Check your student email account for instructions on how to change your password.  For your security, this should be done by today.

 

Did you take the practice SAT? If so, come pick up your scores in the student services office today!

 

Attention Students!  We want your input!  Murphy Jr. High School is looking to honor 2 teachers and 1 additional staff member for SD 308's May Pride Award. If you would like to recognize staff members who have gone above and beyond for you, please use the link provided in the BULLetin to fill out a nomination. 

 


Hey Mav’s: The 7th grade basketball team picked up a 24 to 12 victory against Traughber.  Cassie led the scoring, while Ava, Lauren, and Sydney each contributed 4 points. In the second game, the Mavericks found themselves down 8 to 2 at halftime.  In the second half, the Mavericks were able to break through Traughbers tough defense to grab the lead with seconds to go and hold on for the 12 to 10 victory.  Audrey led the scoring with 7 points, while Layla and Mia each added 2.

 

Today is Locker Clean out! 2nd Floor D- pod after the announcements, students should use the large trash cans in the pod for any trash and take a few minutes to organize their lockers.

 

Mavericks: We would like to congratulate the following students for receiving a positive behavior referral this past week! Will the following students please walk down to Student Services to receive their referral: Brett Larson, Diego Carrillo,Gabby Friscia, Brianna Carpen and Brodie Drane. Congrats and keep up the great work!
