Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Wednesday, February 19th, 2020

Attention Mavericks!  The Annual District Math competition is on
Monday March 16th.  Join other 6th, 7th and 8th graders from all 5
junior highs in both a team and individual math competition.  Let’s
keep our Trophy and take down Bednarcik once again!  See your math
teacher for more information and be sure to turn in your sign up form
by March 9th.

Attention all students: For continued safety and security, all student passwords for the Tyler system have been reset.  Check your student email account for instructions on how to change your password.  For your security, this should be done by the end of the week.

Did you take the practice SAT? If so, come pick up your scores in the student services office today!

Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys:  Are you interested in trying out for boys’ volleyball?  Don’t worry, you don’t need experience!  After announcements go to Ms. Steele's room, E121, to hear more and pick up a tryout packet. 

Hey Mav’s: The 7th grade basketball team rebounded from a tough loss last week to pick up a pair of wins against Plank.  The Mavericks were able to work for some good shots to pick up the 30 to 11 victory.  Ava led the scoring with 10 points, Cassie added 9, Addison was good for 5, and Lauren finished with 4 points. In the second game, both teams had trouble controlling the ball.  Fortunately the Mavericks were able to get some shots to fall to slowly build a lead.  Plank battled back to get close, but the Mavericks held on for the 14 to 8 victory.  Audrey led the scoring with 6 points, while Emily, Skylar, Natalie, and Gianna also scored.
