Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Monday, February 10th, 2020

The Maverick MURAL Club is taking on the challenge of the walls of MJHS.  Students will be collaborating to create and design murals around the school.  More murals are on the horizon! The Maverick Mural Club will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 4:30 PM - starting Tuesday, February 18th. All students must have signed permission slip turned in prior to attending. Flyers are outside Ms. Cryder's room. Prepare to get messy!

Attention Mavericks!  The Annual District Math competition is on Thursday March 16th.  Join other 6th, 7th and 8th graders from all 5junior highs in both a team and individual math competition.  Let’s keep our Trophy and take down Bednarcik once again!  See your math teacher for more information and be sure to turn in your sign up form by March 9th.

Attention 4th period Lunch: Sign up for a Valentine’s Day meet and eat with Miss Phillips and Mrs. Clausen for tomorrow during 4th period lunch.  You can make Valentine's Day cards and eat cookies. See you there!                       

Attention Maverick’s!  Do you love science and technology?  Do you want to learn to code, build things, perform experiments and other fun STEM activities?  Join us!   This spring, the STEM Club will be doing a different activity each week.  STEM Club will meet on Tuesdays beginning next Tuesday, February 18th in room F228 from 3:15-4:15 pm.   See Mrs. Ramsbottom for details or pick up a flyer in Student Services.

Hey Mav: Starting today, Student Council will be selling Valentine's Day grams during lunch periods. Buy a sweet treat for your friends and send them a Valentine's Day message. Grams can be bought during lunch periods Monday through Thursday next week for 50 cents each. All grams will be delivered to homerooms on Friday. Don't forget to spread the love!
