Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Thursday, January, 9th 2020

Attention Mavericks: Murphy Junior High School in conjunction with The Rotary Club announces the annual “Coats for Kendall” winter clothing drive. Please bring in any gently used coats, scarves, hats, gloves or mittens.  All collected items will be donated to local charities to ensure those in need in our local community have warm winter gear as the weather turns colder. A collection box is located in the main office. Mavericks please show you care by donating to those in need.

Attention 7th grade girls trying out for basketball.  Tryouts begin Monday after school.  Make sure that you have been registered and have a physical on file.  Please see Mr. Orr if you have any questions.

Attention anyone interested in participating in morning intramural basketball: Come pick up a form from Mr. Brown or in the student services office.

Attention any student interested in joining an intramural: This is your chance!  We will begin an intramural on Jan 27 for futbol (mostly indoor soccer).  This will include a variety of soccer activities including indoor soccer, soccer, tennis, and hacky sack to list a few.  This is open to all students regardless of age and experience.  Come out and have fun. This will take place every Monday and Thursday from 3:10-5:00.   If interested, please get a worksheet from outside Ms. Kerr's office or from student services and return by 1/22.
