Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Wednesday, October 9th, 2019

Attention all Mavericks! Today is the final day we will be collecting non-perishable food items for the annual district Food Drive. Can Murphy collect the most food out of the junior highs? We currently have 4608 items donated! Can we reach 5,500 items collected this year? Students will receive 1 Bullseye for the first item donated and a Jump in Line pass for the first five items donated. We will also be having a pizza party for the homeroom with the highest percentage of items per student. Currently, Phillips is in 1st, Fell is in 2nd and Avignone is in 3rd. Additionally, this year we will be able to accept monetary donations. For every $1 donated, that student’s homeroom will have 8 items added to their homeroom count. Show Mavs care and bring in those items!

Hey Mav’s: Picture retake day is today during your lunch periods. If you need retakes, you will need your old pictures and a retake form to give the photographer.

Hey 8th Graders: It's not too late to sign up for the Washington DC Trip over Spring Break, March 22-24, 2020!  Ask Mr. Linden at (mlinden@sd308.org) or Mrs. Carino at (mcarino@sd308.org) for your information for registration information.

Have you lost something? If so, come check out the lost and found outside of the Student Services office. There are many items looking for their owner. All unclaimed items will be donated next week Friday after school.

Attention Wrestlers:  Anyone interested in wrestling there will be an informal meeting during homeroom this Friday in Mr Kiefert’s room, D203.
