Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Tuesday, September 17th, 2019

Hey Mavs! Come out and join us for a morning of FUN at the VERY FIRST Murphy Color run on October 6th!  Run, walk, or jog our 5K course, cheer on friends, and just HAVE FUN!  Early bird registration ends this Friday, September 20th.  You can still register after the 20th as well though; so don't worry...don't miss the FUN! #gonnasweatrainbows

It is time to get excited about the Fall Play, Bestest Bedtime Stories as Told by our Grandpa (He's Silly). Auditions for the play will be next week on Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 23 and 24). All Murphy students are invited to audition. Please pick up an audition packet and sign up for a time slot in the choir room any time this week. If you have any questions, Mrs. Tysiak or Mrs. Clausen can help you!

Attention Students: We need you to continue to be safe in the hallways.  We've seen some great improvements but there's still work to be done.  Staff will continue to give BULLSEYES only for appropriate hallway behavior.  Starting next Tuesday, the Maverick Mini Mall will be open for a limited time for students to cash in!  The Maverick Mini Mall will be open Tuesday and Friday for 2 weeks only! Organize your BULLSEYES and come to the Mini Mall to buy yourself a treat.  And remember Mavs, be safe and kind in the halls.

Student Ambassadors: There will be a meeting on Wednesday, September 18th in the ZAP room (across from the Multi-Purpose Room) from 7:50 - 8:30 am. Please come to the ZAP room as soon as you arrive to school from the bus or parent drop-off. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you again! 

Want a change of scenery from the cafeteria? Or have you ever wanted to have lunch with your teacher and play games or talk about fun topics besides academics of course! Topics like Musicals, the Super Bowl, or Switch games? Maverick Meet & Eats is back with new sessions for this school year! For September, we have the following Meet & Eat available for sign up. 4th period Lunch on Friday September 27th join us to Watch “The Office” and eat snacks with Ms. Rerych and Mrs. Clausen! Talk to your homeroom teacher to sign up!

Hey Mavs: Come on out and support the boys soccer team as they take on Traughber. Game starts at 4:30pm.
