Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Thursday, August 29th, 2019

Hey 8th graders!  It's not too late to go on the unforgettable Washington DC trip over Spring Break!  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday September 4th at 6:30 p.m. in Traughber's cafeteria.  If you have questions, you can see Ms. Miller in room D121 during homeroom. 

Hey Mavs! Interested in being part of the fall play or spring musical here at Murphy?  Mrs. Tysiak and Mrs. Clausen are hosting an announcement party after school on Friday September 6.  During this party we will announce the play and musical, give more information about auditions and performances, and will play games and have snacks!  The party will go from 3:10 to 4:30 in the choir room.  If you are interested in attending be sure to sign up on the sign-up sheet outside of the choir room.  Any questions talk to Mrs. Tysiak or Mrs. Clausen.

Attention Green Team Members: We will begin meeting THIS week after school. Please meet in Miss Phillips classroom, D209, each Friday from 3:10 to 3:40. Thanks and see you then!

Hey 8th Graders! How would you like to spend Spring Break down in Key Largo and the everglades?! Can you see yourself swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in 2 coral reefs, kayaking through the mangroves, and going deep into the everglades? There is still time to sign up! There is a Parent meeting on September 3rd at 6:30PM in the Traughber Multipurpose Room.  See you there!

Attention Student Ambassadors: There will be a meeting on Tuesday, September 3rd in the ZAP room (across from the Multi-Purpose Room) from 7:50 - 8:30 am. Please come to the ZAP room as soon as you arrive to school from the bus or parent drop-off. Thanks and we look forward to seeing you again!

Hey MAVS: If you did not receive a Student ID made yet come to the main office to get yours today. If you lost your original ID it is $5 to get a new one.

Attention MAVS: ALL Student Council forms are due THIS FRIDAY to Miss Buckley or Miss Phillips. Please be sure to have your form signed and returned to participate in the upcoming activities.

Attention Maverick’s!  Do you love science?  Who doesn't?  Do you love technology?  Of course you do!  Then, double your fun and join Murphy’s STEM Club!   STEM Club will meet on Tuesdays beginning next Tuesday, September 3rd in room F228 from 3-4:15 pm.  See Mrs. Ramsbottom for details or pick up a flyer in Student Services.
