Hey Mav’s: Strength and Conditioning starts this coming Monday, August 26th.  Registration forms are outside of Coach Dudley's office.  Forms are due today.

Hey 8th graders!  It's not too late to go on the unforgettable Washington DC trip over Spring Break!  There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday September 4th at 6:30 p.m. in Traughber's cafeteria.  If you have questions, you can see Ms. Miller in room D121 during homeroom. 

Attention any 7th or 8th grade girls interested in trying out for girls volleyball: Tryouts are on August 26th and 27th after school until 5pm.  You must pick up a tryout packet from Ms. Steele or Student Services.  A sports physical must be on file as of today.  You do not need any previous experience to tryout.  Please see Ms. Steele in room E121 with any questions.

Have you received a Bullseye in the halls? Congratulations! You're earning your way to some awesome prizes and celebrations. Be sure to write your names on your Bullseyes and don't lose them. Those special prizes and celebrations will soon be announced. Keep up the great job with appropriate hallway behavior!

Hey Mavs! Interested in being part of the fall play or spring musical here at Murphy?  Mrs. Tysiak and Mrs. Clausen are hosting an announcement party after school on Friday September 6.  During this party we will announce the play and musical, give more information about auditions and performances, and will play games and have snacks!  The party will go from 3:10 to 4:30 in the choir room.  If you are interested in attending be sure to sign up on the sign-up sheet outside of the choir room.  Any questions talk to Mrs. Tysiak or Mrs. Clausen.

Mavericks: Are you interested in playing Intramural Basketball before school or Intramural Flag Football after school?  If so, come pick up a sign up form in Student Services.

Are you a responsible student? If so, Miss Buckley and Miss Phillips are looking for responsible students to join this year’s Student Council. If you are interested in joining, please let your homeroom teacher know by Monday, 8/26.

Student Ambassadors: There will be a meeting on Monday, August 26th in the Multipurpose Room during Homeroom. See you then!

Attention Students: Schedule changes must be completed by Wednesday, August 28th.  Counselors will only make changes due to schedule errors, such as missing periods, double classes, wrong level, electives taken previously, etc. or changing 7th or 8th grade electives (only when possible). Counselors will not make changes for specific class periods or specific teachers. Students: please see Mr. Falli or Mrs. Zawacki in Student Services or send them an email to request your change. Please note, changes are not always possible.

Mavericks: Miss Phillips is looking for volunteers to assist in this year's Green Team. Green Team will meet after school on Fridays from 3:10 to 3:40 pm. We will begin NEXT week. If you are interested in joining and helping keep Murphy green, please see Miss Phillips in D209 for a sign-up sheet.
