Murphy is excited to host the upcoming Spring  Scholastic Book Fair. An amazing selection of books is headed this way! The fair will take place in Murphy’s LRC next week, Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3rd from 8:15 -3:10.If you can’t make the book fair, you can also help support our school by shopping online. All orders ship free to Murphy. The online fair is available this Wednesday, April 24th through Wednesday, May 8th.  See your ELA teacher or Mrs. Campasano for details.

Hey Mav’s: Volunteer hour forms are due to Mr. Falli today for ALL STUDENTS. We have listed more volunteer opportunities to begin collecting service hours toward next school year.  Students with the correct amount of service hours will be recognized at Promotion Night!

ATTENTION MAVERICKS: Are you a confident junior high student? Do you know what it means to be a Maverick? If so, you would be a great fit for the 2019 Survival Skills classes! Miss Phillips and Ms. Fell are looking for volunteers to assist in this summer's courses. If you are interested, please obtain a sign-up form outside of Miss Phillips's classroom, D209. All forms are due to Miss Phillips by Friday, 5/3.

Attention 7th graders: Avid Applications are due today for next year’s 8th grade AVID elective class. Please return your application to Mr. Falli or Ms. Fell.

Attention Green Team: There will be no weekly meeting today. We will resume our normal schedule next week. See you then!

Hey Mav’s: The mini-mall is open for second floor homerooms today.  Please have your name on your bulleyes.  You asked for it, so we are bringing it back!  Beginning today, we will have Root Beer Float Fridays for the next four Fridays!  Bring your 20 bullseyes to the mini mall in exchange for a Root Beer Float ticket!  

Today is Locker Clean out! 2nd Floor D- pod after the announcements, students should use the large trash cans in the pod for any trash and take a few minutes to organize their lockers.

Reminder to New NJHS students:  Sign up to volunteer for Step up day is in Student Services. We need help with both Step Up night on Thursday May 2nd and during the day on Friday May 3rd. See Mr. Falli or Mrs. Zawacki with any questions.
