Hey Mav’s: The PTO has rented the ENTIRE AURORA SKATE RINK just for the MJHS students! This event is FREE, including skate rental and will take place on Wednesday April 24th from 6-8pm. Mark your calendars! All you have to do is show up ready to skate and bring your school ID. Hope to see you there!

We have the following Meet & Eat sessions available in April: 4th/5th/6th/7th period lunches - Cupcakes and College activity with Student Services staff on April 30th. 6th period - Join Mrs. Zaininger and Mrs. Clausen on National Talk Like Shakespeare Day, April 23rd, for a session all about Shakespeare!

Hey Mav’s: Due to testing this week, there will be no mini mall. The mini mall will reopen next week on Wednesday and Friday.

Hey 7th Graders: Listen Up! If you would like to swim with dolphins, kayak through the Mangroves, Snorkel in two Coral Reefs, and visit the Everglades next year during Spring Break, you need to come to the Splash Into Science Parent Presentation! You will learn about all the activities in detail and how you can get registered for this Adventure of a Lifetime. The meeting will take place at Traughber Junior High in the Multipurpose Room at 7:00PM on April 23rd! Let’s start planning to head down to Key Largo and the Everglades during Spring Break next year! ATTENTION MAVERICKS: Are you a confident junior high student? Do you know what it means to be a Maverick? If so, you would be a great fit for the 2019 Survival Skills classes! Miss Phillips and Ms. Fell are looking for volunteers to assist in this summer's courses. If you are interested, please obtain a sign-up form outside of Miss Phillips's classroom, D209. All forms are due to Miss Phillips by Friday, May 3rd.

Congratulations to the girls’ soccer team with a dominating victory last night.  The girls played against Bednarcik and came away with a 9-1 win. Keep up the good work!
