Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Wednesday, April 10th, 2019

Hey Mav’s: The PTO has rented the ENTIRE SKATE RINK just for the MJHS students! This event is FREE, including skate rental and will take place on Wednesday April 24th from 6-8pm. Mark your calendars! All you have to do is show up ready to skate and bring your school ID. Hope to see you there!

Attention 8th grade students: Welcome to the Pack night is tomorrow night at Oswego East High School. Please plan on attending from 6:00-7:30 pm. Don't miss it!

Hey 7th graders!  Spring Break just ended, and I’ll bet some of you are already thinking about next year’s Spring Break.  Maybe a trip to Washington D.C. is in your future.  You can visit all of the cool memorials and monuments, see a play, watch the changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery and maybe even see some famous people as you tour our nation’s capital.  If you are interested in finding out more about the trip, there will be a meeting tonight at 6:30 pm. at Traughber Junior High in the multi-purpose room.  Grab some friends and come to the meeting to find out all about this great memory making experience.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Miller in room D121.

Attention any current 7th grade student that was unable to attend the AVID parent night: Please pick up an application in student services. Applications are due to Mr. Falli by Friday April 26th.

Congratulations to Mrs. Alesia's homeroom as Virginia won the NCAA tournament on Monday night. Also congratulations to Mr. Zaininger and Mrs. Schultz's homerooms as they were the winners of the door decorating contest. Each homeroom will be rewarded with a doughnut party during homeroom.

Hey Mav’s: There will be an informational meeting for all athletes interested in trying out for OE Cheer for the 2019-20 season at Oswego East High School, tonight at 5pm.  Parents are asked to attend as well.  Additional information can be found on the OE Athletics website. 

Attention Student Council: THIS THURSDAY is our monthly meeting. Please plan to attend. Our meeting will be at 7:45 am in Miss Phillips's classroom. See you then!
