Attention any 7th or 8th grade girl interested in playing soccer for Murphy:  Tryouts are today. (Dress accordingly) There will only be one day of tryouts. Today by 2 pm, a current physical should be on file with the school nurse.  Also, each girl should be registered on the 8to18 website.

Have you seen the posters around the school about Murphy's Got Talent? Don't wait until it is too late! Sign-up for your Murphy's Got Talent Audition NOW! Sign-ups are in the music department. We're looking for some of Murphy's unique talents to perform in the 4th quarter assembly. Auditions will be after spring break on April 8!

Any boys trying out for boys’ volleyball need to change and be in the gym after school.  Please make sure you have ride here at 5:30 to pick you up.  If you have any questions- please see Ms. Steele in Room E121.

Hey Mav’s: The mini mall is open for first floor homerooms today! Bring your bullseyes with your name on them after the pledge!

Hey Mav’s: Tonight is the opening night of the tournament with games continuing on Wednesday night. For Wednesday's spirit day please wear the school colors of the lower seeded team your homeroom was assigned.

Attention Stem Club: Stem Club has been cancelled for today. Please take your usual transportation home after school.

Attention Mavericks: Murphy Junior High School in conjunction with The Rotary Club announces the annual “Coats for Kendall” winter clothing drive. Please bring in any gently used coats, scarves, hats, gloves or mittens.  All collected items will be donated to local charities to ensure those in need in our local community have warm winter gear as the weather turns colder. A collection box is located in the main office. Mavericks please show you care by donating to those in need.
