Hey Mav’s: Looking for some service hours? The Homestead Fun Fair will be March 9th from 11am to 3pm and they are looking for volunteers to help. You need to sign up by March 1st. Check out the Bulletin for the link to sign up!

Attention Mavs: Student Council will be selling Valentine’s Day Grams during lunch periods today thru tomorrow. Grams will be sold for 50 cents and delivered to homerooms. Spoil your friends with a special treat to make their Valentine’s Day that much sweeter.

Hey Maverick Sewing Club! Don't forget our first meeting has changed. We will meet tomorrow right after school. See you there!

Attention Mavericks: Murphy Junior High School in conjunction with The Rotary Club announces the annual “Coats for Kendall” winter clothing drive. Please bring in any gently used coats, scarves, hats, gloves or mittens.  All collected items will be donated to local charities to ensure those in need in our local community have warm winter gear as the weather turns colder. A collection box is located in the main office. Mavericks please show you care by donating to those in need.

Attention Student Council Members: On Tuesday, we will meet in Miss Phillips’s classroom to create Valentine’s Day grams. We will meet until 4 pm. Hope to see you there!

Mavericks: Thank you to all the Mavs who participated in the Great Kindness Challenge Contest!  We are happy to announce the 3 winners of the Great Kindness Checklist are Stephany Nunez, Caitlyn Wachal, and Wesley Akyea.  The winner of the Great Kindness Challenge essay contest winners are Amaya Salazar, McKenna Johansen, Erika Smiley, and Sophia Michuda.  Please come to Student Services to receive your prize!
