Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Tuesday, January 15th, 2019

Want a change of scenery from the cafeteria? Or have you ever wanted to have lunch with your teacher and play games or talk about fun topics, besides academics of course? Topics like Musicals, the Super Bowl, or Switch games? Maverick Meet & Eats is back with new sessions for January! Here are the January dates.  4th period lunch will be Games on January 23rd with Walsh, Fell, & Vihnanek. 5th period lunch will be the Musical Mary Poppins on January 25th with Karvelius & Zawacki, 6th period lunch will be Switch games on 1/22 with Gerl & Rerych and 7th period lunch, Super Sundae Super Bowl is FULL on January 30th with Lester, Pugh, & Wackerlin, Talk to your homeroom teacher to see if spots are still available!

Attention 6th and 7th graders: the elective selection window is now open on Home Access for you to input your electives for the 2019-2020 school year. Remember to select electives to fill two class periods for each semester. 6th grade input your choices by Tuesday, January 22nd. 7th grade input your choices by Wednesday January 23rd.See Mr. Falli or Mrs. Zawacki if you have any questions.

Attention any Mavericks interested in participating in morning intermural basketball: Please see Mr. Brown for a sign up form. Morning basketball will be from 7:40 to 8:05am every Tuesday and Thursday.

 
Calling all Muralists: Due to the huge demand for murals around the building, the Murphy Mural Club is back and looking for participants.  Teachers, counselors, students - yes, even, students have been sharing suggestions for our next projects.  Are you up for the challenge of coloring the walls here at Murphy? The Maverick Art Club will meet on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays after school until 4:30 PM, starting next Thursday, January 24th. All students must have signed permission slip turned in prior to attending. See Ms. Cryder for handout and calendar.

Hey Mav’s! This Friday concessions will be available to purchase during our half day rotations! Everything is priced just right, at only one dollar per item!  

Attention Golf Camp participants: Golf camp for today is cancelled and we will continue next Thursday. Please make sure to take your usual way home.
