Good Morning Mavericks! Today is Wednesday, October 24th, 2018

Murphy is excited to host the upcoming Fall Scholastic Book Fair. An amazing selection of books is headed this way! The fair will take place in Murphy’s LRC on Monday, October 29 through Thursday, November 1st from 8:10am to 3:00pm during the school day and during parent/teacher conferences Thursday 4 to 8pm. If you can’t make the book fair, you can also help support our school by shopping online. All orders ship free to Murphy. The online fair is available this Wednesday, October 24th through Wednesday, November 7th.

Mavericks: The LRC Great Pumpkin Contest has begun! Bring in your decorated Pumpkin to the LRC. Entries will be accepted until this Friday.  Winners will be announced during homeroom Wednesday, Oct. 31st. Winners will receive a gift certificate to the Scholastic Fall Book Fair

Hey Mavs: Last night the 8th grade basketball traveled to face Bednarcik.  The first half we were up by 4 the whole time and then Bednarcik took the lead. From that point on we could never get back on top and fell short.  Leading scorers were Tyre with 8 and Reif and Christian had 7. In the second game it was a little different  we took the lead and never looked back.  Everyone scored and had a great game.  Leading scorers were Michael Poblinski with 12,  Zack with 8 and Earnest with 7.
