42Fifty, Oswego High School's student-run news website, earned a Gold Award and multiple individual awards from the Northern Scholastic Press Association for its coverage this past year. The Gold Award is given to publications who earn at least 200 out of 230 points on their overall critique; 42Fifty earned 214/230 points, the highest score in the history of the publication. 

In addition to the overall Gold Award received by the publication staff as a whole, Brady Monahan, Austin Lamb, David Diaz, Jaylene Garcia, Trinity Heard, Liliana Murillo, Ava Szekely, and Natalie Raabe all received individual awards.
