    The District 308 Kinetic Wellness departments strive to provide students with a comprehensive, challenging curriculum in physical education, health education and driver education which will contribute to the development and maintenance of student’s physical, cognitive and affective health and wellbeing. Through these efforts, it is our mission for students to apply the knowledge and skills they acquire to achieve lifelong fitness and wellness for themselves, their families and their communities.

     Advance Personal Fitness

    In APF, students will be using an individualized approach, to assess, motivate, educate and train students regarding their personal health and fitness needs.  This course is designed to fit the needs of individuals who are not involved in high school athletics.  We will teach you how to design safe and effective exercise programs, provide the guidance to help you achieve your personal health/fitness goals.  Students are expected to leave the class with a good knowledge of biomechanical concepts, training adaptations, anatomy, exercise physiology and program design guidelines.
