Bednarcik Science Olympiad Team
A competition team that prepares for 23 events in Science, Technology and Engineering.
-
The Bednarcik Science Olympiad Program has a Varsity Team consisting of experienced competitors and mostly 8th graders and a Junior Varsity Team for 6th and 7th grade students. Both teams compete in a regional competition and awards are given in events for both team categories. Only the Varsity level can qualify for the state competition.
Students compete in teams of 2 in test events and building events in many different areas of science.
This is a competitive club and the expectation is that members regularly attend meetings and will work on projects outside of meeting times.
This club requires a total of $55 (there is a district club fee payment and an additional school club fee to cover competition costs). The district fee will be charged through PushCoin once the season starts. The club fee will be collected in person at the first meeting.
