The My Math series is used as the math curriculum throughout the district at the elementary level. My Math provides a colorful and intuitive lesson format that is engaging and kid-friendly, making math fun and memorable. Please practice these important math skills at home throughout the school year: counting by 1’s-2’s-5’s-10’s, writing numbers, counting money, math facts with a sum up to 20, adding/subtracting, and telling time (on the hour and half-hour). These are essential math skills that need to be mastered in First Grade. There are homework pages that will be sent home most nights, but NOT every night.
