A Message from Superintendent Dr. Sparlin

Hello SD 308 Family,

Your voice is very important to our district leadership team and the Board. Beginning next week you will be invited to share your opinion using the 2022-23 Staff Survey. We want to hear directly from those who are out in our buildings and buses each day, interacting with students and colleagues. The information you share is the basis for where we allocate time and resources for improvement to our climate and culture across the district.

This anonymous survey is incredibly important for every staff member of SD 308 to complete. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey when the link is sent out. The survey differs slightly from last year as it provides more open ended questions, so you can share examples and provide information about ideas pertaining to specific topics. The topics align with last year’s questions enough that we can make connections and monitor areas for change and opportunity.

This is a great opportunity to share your honest thoughts and opinions and to be a part of the journey towards a more positive climate and culture, helping to retain and recruit staff to join our team.

Thank you,

Dr. John Sparlin

SD 308 Gives

Are you looking for an opportunity to give back to your community…..

AND spend some time outside of work with your co-workers?

“SD 308 Gives” is a new program being offered by the district providing service-based opportunities once a season for ALL staff to contribute their time and talents while building friendships serving various organizations and projects in and around our community. The demonstration of support and service to  our community is an important endeavor, one that sets a good example for the students we educate, inspires others to join, and elevates all for a greater good. Click here for more information on the SD 308 Gives program and to enroll! There is no cost to participate, and you can choose to participate as often as you’d like. T-shirts will be provided to those who sign up to serve. Questions? You can email communications@sd308.org
