  • Tuesday, May 24 (6:00pm) Finance & Facilities Advisory Committee Meeting

  • Friday, May 27: Last Day of School - Early Release (3.5 hr attendance) 
    Early Childhood - IN PERSON INSTRUCTION/Normal Session Hours for AM/PM

  • Monday, May 30: Memorial Day- District Closed

Community Event Spotlight: Wine on the Fox 2022! Join friends, family and neighbors on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 to enjoy live entertainment and delicious local fare, and have the opportunity to sample award-winning regional wines, while benefiting the Oswego community. This event is free and open to the general public, for those wishing to enjoy the wide variety of wine selections, including craft beer, the purchase of a wine ticket package is required. Bring your blanket and lawn chairs and enjoy live music on the Main Stage, food vendors will be on site. Held at Hudson Crossing Park.

Staff Celebrations!

Congratulations Darren Howard!! Darren received the Division Athletic Director of the Year from the Illinois Athletic Directors Association and a merit recognition by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association for his dedication, selflessness, and commitment. 

Thank You Nurses! Nurses week starts today through Thursday, May 12. National School Nurse Day is May 11th, it was established to foster a better understanding of the role of school nurses in the educational setting. School Nurse Day is celebrated on Wednesday within National Nurses Week. We appreciate you and thank you nurses!! 

Staff Announcements/Information

  • ESY Openings!  Please follow this link to apply for any current open positions.  There is potential of additional positions being added as students continue to enroll in ESY.  The following are known positions to fill:  TAs, Nurses, Secretaries, EC - Teachers, Elementary Teachers - LSP, Speech (JH, HS, Pathways).

  • Prairiefest Parade - Sunday, June 19th (step off at 1:00)

    • SD 308 will be participating in Oswego’s PrairieFest Parade - “Just Another Day in Paradise”. We are asking for one staff volunteer from each school to please participate. Please CLICK HERE to sign up. For those walking, a free t-shirt will be provided. 

  • Attention TEACHERS: We are “cleaning up” the Teacher Pages on the website. Please CLICK HERE to let us know if you would like to keep your teacher page or have it deleted (by May 15, 2022). If this form is not completed by May 15th the teacher page and content within the page will be removed prior to the 2022-23 School Year.  

  • Pathways Transition Center Presents: Phoenix Cafe - The Phoenix Cafe is OPEN on Wednesdays from 10-11am, at DAC- 4175 Route 71, Door #7. During this time period, enjoy fresh coffee while supporting the students of the Transition Center ($2/cup). Click Here for Flyer.

  • Computer Science Endorsement Program - The Teacher Training Unit at DPI (Discovery Partners Institute) has partnered with UIUC’s College of Education to launch the 2nd cohort for the Teaching Endorsement in Computer Science. Click Here for more Information.

  • Workplace Safety: Sprains and strains can lead to serious workplace injuries, cause lost time, reduce productivity and disrupt employee work. Reduce the risk of sprain and strain injuries occurring in your workplace. Recognize the warning signs and how to minimize them with proper posture, exercises and other simple adjustments before an injury occurs. Here’s some additional information.
