G Suite
  • The purpose of the site is to help provide resources to educators as we embark on Remote Learning.  G Suite for Education is used by thousands of schools and universities worldwide to make collaboration tools available for students. These collaboration tools will make it possible for teachers and students to interactively work together on activities, documents, presentations, projects and more!.

  • Student G Suite for Education Accounts:

    To ensure equal access for all students and comply with online safety laws protecting children 13 and under, the District will provide accounts to Kindergarten - 12th grade students.  Email access will begin in 5th grade.  Students in 5th - 8th grade can only send and receive emails from other School District 308 teachers, students, and approved domains. Students in 9th - 12th grade will be able to send and receive emails from within and outside of School District 308 domain. Students should consider their school email as an extension of the classroom, and it is subject to the same rules and guidelines as expected in school. All school emails are archived and retrievable for a minimum of one year. 

     
    Student Usernames and Passwords:
    Student's Google account will be in the form
    Student ID number@students.sd308.org
    (i.e. 12345678@students.sd308.org).  
    The student's password should be the same as they would use to log into a computer at school.  If the student has never logged in to a windows machine at school or they have forgotten their password - it would be best to direct the student to mypassword.sd308.org to determine the password.
     
    Expected Use of G Suite in the Classroom:

    For the 2020 - 2021 school year, all teachers will maintain a Google Classroom for their students.
