    How it Works:

InfoArmor’s PrivacyArmor is a monitoring solution that protects you from the hassles of identity theft. By proactively seeking out fraud at the source (when thieves first use personal information) they are able to detect fraud sooner to reduce damages.

They start by employing patented technology used by top financial institutions and banks to monitor applications for misuse of participant’s information. Their solution includes monitoring for compromised credentials, application submissions, and High Risk Transactions (such as unauthorized account access, fund transfers and password resets) to detect more fraud, sooner.

If they detect fraud or unusual activity indicative of fraud, you will be the first to know. Rest assured, when there is a situation that needs attention, a Privacy Advocate® will help do the work to resolve it, start to finish, all on your behalf.
In addition to industry-leading identity protection, PrivacyArmor also includes (free of charge) an annual credit report, monthly credit scores, and tri-bureau monitoring of your credit file for no additional charge.

Once enrolled, you will receive monthly identity updates with your risk level and any active identity alerts. If they detect an issue or suspicious activity, a Privacy Advocate will contact you immediately via your communication preferences. With PrivacyArmor you receive Instant Inquiry Alerts which provide almost instant notification when a TransUnion credit report has been requested. You can also setup threshold monitoring which sets limits on transactions that could be flagged as high risk, and notifies you if a dollar limit has been exceeded.

Additionally, you will receive proactive alerts as an added layer of protection. With this feature, you will receive additional alerts from expanded data sources for transactions on credit, debit and checking accounts as well as new account authorizations, new deposit accounts opened and personal information request changes. These alerts can also be configured based on your communication preferences.
