• Women's Health and Maternity Programs
     
    The Special Beginnings Maternity Program is designed to provide educational information and support from early pregnancy until six weeks after delivery. The program is available to all women who are pregnant and enrolled in the district’s BlueCross BlueShield medical plans.


    Special Beginnings gives participants:

    • Pregnancy risk-factor identification
    • Educational material
    • Personal telephone contact
    • Assistance in managing high-risk conditions
    Women may enroll as soon as they learn they are pregnant. It's easy and confidential. Call 888-421-7781, 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

    Ovia is a pregnancy and parenting resource that provides education, coaching, and more to support parents on their healthcare journey. CUSD employees enrolled in a BCBS plan have access to Ovia through their coverage with BCBS for free.
